Code of Conduct

Conquerors Global Assembly Church Media Unit

Code of Conduct and Handbook

Chapter 1: INTRODUCTION

Conquerors Global Assembly Church is founded on the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We believe that every believer is called to reflect the nature of Christ — in purity, integrity, love, and excellence.

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards expected of all members, workers, and leaders within the church, ensuring that we maintain holiness, discipline, and harmony in all things.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.” — 1 Peter 1:15
  • “Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40

Purpose:

To build a church community where members live by the Word of God, serve with integrity, and represent Christ both within and outside the church walls.

The Code of Conduct serves as a compass for behavior, ensuring that all actions glorify God and strengthen the church family.

Chapter 2: OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this Code of Conduct include:

  1. To Promote Spiritual Maturity: Encourage members to grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ through discipleship and obedience to the Word.
2 Peter 3:18 – “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
  2. To Maintain Order and Accountability: Ensure proper conduct, submission to authority, and responsibility in service.
Hebrews 13:17 – “Obey them that have the rule over you… for they watch for your souls.”
  3. To Uphold the Church’s Reputation: Protect the testimony of the church through consistent godly living.
Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men…”
  4. To Prevent Misconduct and Promote Unity: Foster peace, love, and teamwork among all members.
Psalm 133:1 – “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
  5. To Establish a Disciplinary Framework: Provide biblical guidance for correction and restoration when a member errs.

Chapter 3: MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility

Membership is open to all who:

  • Have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Have completed the church’s foundational classes or believers’ course.
  • Agree to abide by the church’s doctrines, leadership, and code of conduct.
Romans 10:9 – “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Responsibilities of Members

  • Attend services and church programs regularly.
  • Uphold moral standards and avoid actions that bring disrepute to the church.
  • Support the ministry financially and prayerfully.
  • Serve faithfully in assigned units and ministries.
  • Show respect for church leadership and fellow believers.

Hebrews 10:25 – “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”

1 Corinthians 4:2 – “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

Conduct

Members should avoid gossip, backbiting, and divisive speech. Instead, they must promote peace and unity in the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:29 – “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth…”

Chapter 4: DISAPPROVED PRACTICES

Immodest Dressing

Members are expected to dress decently and in a way that honors God. Clothing that exposes indecent parts, promotes sensuality, or distracts from worship is not acceptable.

1 Timothy 2:9–10 – “Women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.”

1 Corinthians 6:19–20 – “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…”

Example: Women should avoid transparent or tight-fitting clothing. Men should also dress neatly and avoid sagging or indecent appearances that contradict Christian values.

Illegal Soliciting for Fund

Members are prohibited from using the church’s name to raise or solicit funds without the written consent of leadership. Any financial activity must be approved through proper church channels.

Proverbs 11:1 – “A false balance is abomination to the LORD.”

Example: A member cannot create a fundraising platform using the church’s name for personal or external projects without leadership authorization.

Alcohol-Related Problems

Consumption of alcohol and attendance at drinking joints are strictly discouraged. The believer’s body and mind must remain sober and alert to serve God effectively.

Ephesians 5:18 – “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”

Romans 14:21 – “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth.”

Use of Tobacco & Substances

The use of tobacco, narcotics, hard drugs, or any addictive substances defiles the body and weakens one’s testimony.

1 Corinthians 3:16–17 – “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God…”

Chapter 5: INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER

Integrity is the foundation of Christian life. Every member is expected to uphold honesty, humility, and transparency in all dealings.

Proverbs 10:9 – “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely.”

Philippians 2:3 – “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory…”

Guidelines:

  1. Members must avoid dishonesty, fraud, and unethical practices in business or ministry.
  2. Leaders should model accountability in financial and personal matters.
  3. Gossip, false accusation, and manipulation are contrary to the Spirit of Christ.
  4. Marital fidelity, sexual purity, and humility must be maintained at all times.

Example: A church worker entrusted with funds must record and remit all offerings promptly without diversion or delay.

Chapter 6: MEDIA UNIT AND ITS SUB-UNITS

Overview

The Media Unit of Conquerors Global Assembly Church plays a vital role in communicating the Gospel through sound, visuals, and technology.

It is a creative ministry dedicated to excellence, accuracy, and spiritual sensitivity — ensuring that every image, video, sound, and digital content reflects the glory of God and the vision of the Church.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • Habakkuk 2:2 — “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
  • Psalm 68:11 — “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”
  • Colossians 3:23 — “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

The Media Unit is not merely technical — it is a ministry of light that communicates salvation, edifies the body of Christ, and extends the reach of the church beyond the walls of the sanctuary.

Core Responsibilities
